A scenic drive north to Taos Pueblo, where you will discover a Native American community’s way of life. The day will include additional New Mexico highlights.
Explore:
- Have lunch in Taos another traditional town of New Mexico
- Visit Taos Pueblo, one of the best known Native American communities of the area, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Appreciate the immensity of the Rio Grande Gorge and walk over the bridge
- Visit the off-the-grid Earthship Biotecture community where people live in funny-looking upcycled homes

Tips:
- On the way to Taos, you can stop by the Classical Gas Museum, which is a cool pit stop along the road n informal collection of Gas Station paraphernalia
- Be careful, Taos Pueblo can be closed without notice due to Native American ceremonies. Visit their website or call before you go.
- If you have an extra day, visit Ghost Ranch, a retreat with beautiful red rock landscapes, which was the subject of many of Georgia O’Keeffe’s famous paintings (2h30 – 195km/120mi from Santa Fe).
